Independent tradespeopleTradespeople introduced through Local Trade Link operate independently.Any quotation, price, appointment, contract, warranty, payment arrangement or agreement for work is made directly between the customer and the tradesperson.Customers should satisfy themselves that a tradesperson is appropriately qualified and suitable before agreeing to any work.Where gas work is involved, the person carrying out the relevant gas work must be appropriately Gas Safe registered.4. Quotations and pricesLocal Trade Link does not set or guarantee the price of work carried out by independent tradespeople.Any quotation provided by a tradesperson should be discussed and agreed directly with that tradesperson before work begins.5. Customer informationCustomers are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge.Information supplied through the enquiry form may be shared with suitable independent tradespeople so that they can assess the enquiry and contact the customer.Further information about how personal information is handled is available in our Privacy Policy.6. Quality and responsibility for workLocal Trade Link aims to connect customers with suitable tradespeople but does not supervise or control the work carried out by independent tradespeople.Responsibility for workmanship, materials, warranties, timescales, pricing and compliance with applicable regulations rests with the tradesperson carrying out the work and any agreement made between the customer and that tradesperson.Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.7.
